Basics
The Micro Dermabrasion is a new skin
care device by Bio-Therapeutic Computers that performs
a progressive and controlled exfoliation of the skin.
The purpose is to improve or correct skin abnormalities
that originate in the epidermis and the most superficial
layers of skin. The BioBrasion allows the projection
of a flow of inert micro-crystals onto the skin through
a controlled, graduated vacuum. This is accomplished
through a Pyrex sterilizable/disposable handpiece.
When the handpiece is in contact with the skin, a
vacuum effect is generated which allows a flow of
micro-crystals towards the skin. As soon as the handpiece
is raised, or if there is only partial contact with
the skin, the crystal flow stops as a result of the
interruption of the vacuum. This characteristic allows
for a perfect control of the treatment. More
How It Works
 Use
of the BioBrasion is very simple. It can be operated
on any part of the body where superficial irregularities
need to be corrected. By simple transfer of kinetic
energy the crystals are able to detach and remove
the cells of the top layer of the epidermis in a non-
traumatic way. This system works by way of vaccum
pump, which generates a flow of fresh crystals through
the handpiece, while at the same time removing the
used crystals and epidermal debris form the skin surface
into a medical grade sealed disposable container for
used crystals. Since the crystal flow is activated
only when there is a vacuum (the handpiece being in
contact with the treated area) there is no possibility
of an unexpected projection of crystals. This feature
explains the absolute control the operator has during
this procedure.
Safety
 This
is a gradual and controlled abrasive procedure. The
operator controls not only the duration and intensity
of the treatment, but is able to stop the procedure
at any time by lifting the handpiece away from the
skin . The only part of the BioBrasin that is in contact
with the skin is the disposable hand piece. The corrundum
crystals that are utilized as the abrasive agent are
inert and without any biologic interaction. They are
supplied as a medical grade sterilizable non-reusable
powder. The crystals are vacuumed into an isolated
disposable container keeping the system fully sterile
and independent, thus allowing ample protection for
the operator and client. The clean crystal tube and
the used crystal tube are completely independent making
cross contamination impossible while using our equipment.
