For the past six years, Bio-Therapeutic Computers (BTC)
has dedicated extensive time and resources to determine
the exact mechanism that allows BTC designed microcurrrent
units to work effectively on the human body. To that end,
BTC funded a series of experiments that treated rats with
microcurrents under various conditions. The most recent
laboratory tests showed that BTC equipments inhibits the
chemotaxis of collagen. In the case of injury, chemotaxis
refers to the bodys response of flooding the affected
area with collagen.
Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body and forms
a fibrous material that the body uses as a building block,
along with small amounts of elastin. Scar tissue is, in
essence, collagen fibers that have filled the gap between
the two edges of a wound. The collagen acts to encapsulate
the potential toxins and particles and causes what is known
as the walling off effect. This action prevents
the spread of injury and is usually desirable. There are
times, however, when having the ability to determine the
alignment and flexibility of the collagen fibers can mean
a world of difference for that persons health.
The clinical trials, studies, and laboratory tests have
shown that the following medical indications are directly
affected by how the collagen forms through flooding, linking
and aligning. The proposed mechanism of action and the concurrent
treatment protocols are as follows :
Through rat testing we have learned that
radiation-induced collagen hardens in the muscles thereby
reducing the strength, causing pain and limiting the range
of motion. It is referred to as Muscle Fibrosis
and is a common side effect of having MS and or a stroke.
MECHANISM
We have proven that BTC equipment prevents alignment and
linking of collagen fibers and keeps the collagen soft
and flexible, as well as reduces the quantity of collagen.
Simply put, collagen formation can be dispersed by BTC
microcurrent equipment.
PROTOCOL
Treat each muscle with 2 to 4 channels in a cross
current configuration, 30 minutes at a time in each location.
In many cases several muscles are affected, thus a multi-channel
unit such as BM 2000, E 875 or MED 6000 series is desired.

Collagen has a direct relationship to the stroke victims
symptoms and aftermath in two ways. Collagen is deposited
onto the nerve-damaged tissues as a part of the immune
system response, causing a hardening that affects the
speed at which the nerve impulse can travel. Secondly,
as a side effect, muscle fibrosis occurs as previously
described.
MECHANISM
The thin layers of aligned and linked collagen fibers
harden acting to slow down the repair process of a stroke.
PROTOCOL
Immediately treat the affected area after obtaining a
doctors permission, to speed the healing of injured
blood vessels. Also, treat all of the affected muscles
that have lost their neurological activation in order
to prevent atrophy, fibrosis and retain muscle tone.

| Hardened Silicon Implants |
Silicon implants become hard within three to five years
of insertion.
MECHANISM
The Silicon insert is encapsulated with thin layers of
aligned and linked collagen fibers. If the Silicon implant
is treated with BTC designed microcurrent equipment, the
implant becomes soft to touch and maintains a random alignment
of collagen for approximately three to five years.
PROTOCOL
Treat each implant in cross current configuration for
30 minutes at a time, using 2 to 4 channels. Usually 3
to 15 treatments will soften the encapsulation around
the implants to a condition similar to the original feeling.

Chronic attacks of asthma result in lung tissue scaring
which is actually a collagen build-up, thus reducing the
lung capacity (Emphysema).
MECHANISM
The bodys defense mechanism disperses collagen,
which form thin layers of aligned and linked collagen
fibers. The lung cells have a difficult time absorbing
or transferring oxygen molecules through the hard shell
encapsulating them.
PROTOCOL
Using a multi - channel unit in an interferntial mode,
place the positive electrodes on the back of the lungs
and the negative electrodes on the front of the lungs.
Align each channel such that the entire affected lung
is treated. If using a dual channel unit, repeat the treatment
in each area until the entire lung area is has been treated.
Electric baths are recognized as a very effective way
of treating asthma and emphysema.

Collagen is directly linked with Alzheimers in
that aluminium and other metals in the brain result in
collagen - like fibrosis. The collagen gets deposited
in the brain, thereby reducing the electrical conductivity,
resulting in the loss of neurological signals.
MECHANISM
The collagen construction, or formation, is in thin
layers of aligned collagen type fibers.
PROTOCOL
With the supervision of the patients doctor, run
current through the affected area, in a cross current
configuration. The electric gloves with a dual channel
unit are desirable. In the treated area, the collagen
type material will soften to the touch and maintain random
alignment.

FibroMyalgia is defined as painful swelling over the
entire body.
MECHANISM
Our studies have related FibroMyalgia to dysfunctions
of the Temporomandibular joint which cause the neck and
trapezious muscles to tighten. This results in pain and
reduced blood and lymphatic flow. The condition slowly
worsens. As the muscles become tighter, pressure builds
and they become hypersensitive. The lymphatic drainage
points are slowly closed off, and the lymphatic pumping
action is slowed.
PROTOCOL
Use the TMJ and Lymphatic Drainage Protocol, as well as
Electric Baths. Relaxing the trapezious and neck muscles
helps to increase circulation, lymphatic drainage, blood
circulation and ATP levels necessary for energy production.

CFS is collection of symptoms whose cause still remains
unknown to the medical community. The most common complaint
is an unexplanied lack of energy of constant duration
MECHANISM: The mechanism action is similar to
FibroMyalgia. In addition, the major problem is that the
lymphatic system is not circulating fast enough causing
toxins to remain in the system longer, resulting in constant
fatigue.
PROTOCOL: TMJ and Lymphatic Drainage Protocol,
as well as Electric Baths. Relaxing the trapezious and
neck muscles helps to increase circulation, lymphatic
drainage, blood circulation, and ATP levels necessary
for energy production.

| Myofacial Pain Dysfunction |
There are over 150 major symptoms related to Myofacial
Pain Dysfunction. The following is a short list : headaches,
migraines, loss of hearing, vertigo, jaw pain, trigeminal
nerve problems, poor sinus drainage, Bells palsy, poor
neck range of motion with associated pain, loss of strength
and circulation in hands, rotator cuff problems, scoliosis,
breathing problems, displaced hips, tight lower back muscles,
sciatia, etc.
MECHANISM
The jaw is in wrong position thereby placing pressure
on the nerves passing by the TMJ area. This causes the
neck muscles to tighten and lowers the trigger level of
trapezious muscle 9 usually on one side, thus unbalancing
the spinal column in the area of C4, C5 and C6 and pulls
on T - 12 which then affects L4 and L5. This ends up causing
sublexations of the vertebrae and pinches nerves, as well
as causes disc deterioration. Dysfunctions of TMJ also
block sinus drainage thereby plugging the inner ear. Other
symptoms include pain in the facial and neck area, stiff
neck, jaw pain, headaches, and trigeminal nerve pain.
PROTOCOL
Use the pre - described TMJ and Lymphatic Drainage Protocol,
as well as Electric baths. Relaxing the trapezious and
neck muscles helps to increase circulation, lymphatic
drainage, blood circulation, and ATP levels necessary
for energy production.

| Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Golfers
Elbow & Tennis Elbow |
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Golfers Elbow and Tennis
Elbow are all normally repetitive stress injuries. In
the case of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, the median nerve is
being impinged by inflamed forearm muscles, thus causing
the associated symptoms such as hand and wrist pain, tingling
etc. Tennis Elbow and Golfers Elbow result from
poor posture that causes the same inflammation and resulting
pain and loss of function.
MECHANISM
The abovelisted conditions are basically the result
of overworked muscles that get shortened and eventually
inflamed. As the ATP levels go down in the affected muscles,
due to the lack of circulation, the result is a nutrient
deficiency that causes loss of strength and mobility.
PROTOCOL
Begin a muscle lengthening procedure using the muscle
normalization mode with electric gloves. Use proper pressure
on the origin and insertion points thereby eliciting the
golgi tendon organ response. The golgi tendon organ measures
tension on the bone at the musculotendonous junction,
and if it measures too much tension on that bone, it causes
the muscles to instantly relax. With proper pressure,
muscles should experience a rapid reduction in pain and
an increase in strength.

This condition is a result of the loss of neurological
signals to the face, predominantly on one side, usually
left. These signals determine the muscles tone,
and without the nerve impulse, the muscle will relax and
sa
MECHANISM
Tight neck muscles (upper trapezious) and SCM (Sternocleidomastoid)
pinch the facial causing part or all of the face to fall,
prominently on one side; similar to a stroke. Symptoms
include pain in the facial and neck area, stiff neck,
jaw pain, headaches and trigeminal nerve pain.
PROTOCOL
Again use the TMJ and Lymphatic Drainage protocol, as
well as the Electric baths. Relaxing the trapezious and
neck muscles helps to increase circulation, lymphatic
drainage, blood circulation, and ATP levels necessary
for energy production.

| Neck, Chest and Back Pain |
Tight, swollen or sensitive muscles in the neck, chest
and back causing extreme pain. Also common in thorax area
of the spinal column.
MECHANISM
The pain is caused by tightening of the three different
fibers of the trapezious muscles, SCM, and Splenious Capitis.
PROTOCOL
Use the TMJ protocol, lengthening the affected muscles,
and run current through the area of concern in a cross
- current node.

| Internal Scars And Adhesions/
External Scars |
In cases of internal injury or operations, the bodys
immune system will flood the injured area with collagen
causing internal scarring and adhesions which in turn
cause pain, loss of nervous system signals, loss of some
function and an improper positioning of the internal body
parts.
MECHANISM
Collagen floods the wound, where it aligns and cross -
links causing adhesions.
PROTOCOL
Apply current through the scar area using normalization
and then feather techniques.

| Burns / Acute Acne / Wounds |
Burns of all kinds and sizes can be treated, anywhere
on the body. It can also be used for pain control and
anesthesia.
MECHANISM
Collagen floods the burn area, aligns and cross - links,
causing the molecules to harden, resulting in scar tissue.
Microcurrent treatments will speed the healing by five
to ten times, kill bacteria, and reduce selling, scarring
and pain.
PROTOCOL
Run current through the area, use sterile Q - Tips or
pads. Treat with one two - hour session per day, depending
upon the size or severity of the burn. On swollen areas,
twenty minutes per session is satisfactory. In cases where
the large part of the body is burned, consider using an
electric bath technique.
